The Faaborg Sweater is designed as a tribute to the yarn festival "Knitting by the Sea." The wave border is part of the association's graphic expression and symbolizes waves, life, and movement. "The Knitting by the Sea Association" is created in strong community spirit, and it is this that led us to be named "Faaborg Citizen of the Year" in 2023. Therefore, the Faaborg Sweater design is being released for the festival in April 2024. 'Genser' means sweater, and a 'Faaborg genser' is a person from Faaborg

The wave borders can be knitted with, for example, two strands of ISAGER Highland or one strand of ISAGER Highland together with one strand of ISAGER Silk Mohair. It can be slightly thicker without making a difference.
